The most wonderful time of the year is here, and we’re celebrating 40 years of Christmas cheer with our annual collector’s print that captures the magic of the holiday season available for the entire ‘Ohana!

40 Years of Christmas Cheer

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of our beloved Hawaiian Christmas print, we took inspiration from our archive to create a festive design with 11 unique scenes, all surrounded by a beautiful border of holiday motifs and Hawaiian floral.

Each year, our team photographs the Hawaiian Christmas shirt to add to our Mele Kalikimaka album that documents every print dating back to the first one in 1983.

Meet the Designers

We sat down with Vivian, our resident Hawaiian Christmas designer, to discuss the tradition of this beloved print and learn more about the creation of this year’s festive anniversary design.

Scenes from the print

With 40 years of inspiration to pull from, our artists had fun selecting scenes that represent the quintessential Hawaiian Christmas spirit during the holidays.

In this year’s print, we have Santa taking his Woody surfing on the beach and playing the ukulele. Also featured is a traditional Hawaiian luau, and a snowman & snowwoman making a sandcastle.

The nene goose is also featured with a special 40th-anniversary banner all surrounded by a festive garland to create a special print full of merry details and plenty of Aloha!
