We’re excited to release this limited-edition print featuring the legendary Japanese superhero and pop culture icon, Ultraman, with scenes inspired by the original television series that debuted in 1966.

The Ultraman television series was released in 1966 by the special effects studio Tsuburaya Productions, which was founded by special effects wizard Eiji Tsuburaya, the man who brought the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, to life. The series captivated audiences and is considered one of the most prominent productions in the Japanese tokusatsu genre.

Ultraman was a pioneer in the start of Japan’s “Monster Craze,” and the Kaiju from the original series are part of what makes Ultraman such a cult classic. This print features plenty of the iconic Kaiju as well as Ultraman and the Science Special Search Party (SSSP) thwarting their attacks in a hand-drawn scenic that’s sure to become a collector’s item.
