 Bryan Phillips
As one of the fittest men plunging into the notorious waters of Oahu's North Shore, you may recognize Bryan from various Reyn Spooner advertisements. What you may not know is that Bryan was recently nominated as 2020 Employee of the Year by Mayor Kirk Caldwell on behalf of his significant contributions to ocean safety on Oahu and his inspirational work ethic.

As a leader and advocate of the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association (HLA), Bryan pioneered the Junior Lifeguard program that instills values of ocean conservation and water safety upon Hawaii's keiki (youth). Not only does Bryan save lives on a weekly basis, but he continues to inspire countless youth to consider lifeguarding as a viable career path.

We're proud to share Bryan's story as one of Hawaii's most celebrated local leaders. Mahalo Bryan for your contribution to our community and for keeping our Ohana safe!
