It's officially summer! To celebrate the longer days and warmer temps, we compiled a list of recs to help you enjoy our favorite season.
1. What To Eat: Fresh Mango Salsa
In Hawai'i, summer means it's mango season, and there's no better way to enjoy the sweet fruit than fresh mango salsa. If you don't have a tree in your backyard, say Aloha to a neighbor with one or pick some up at a farmer's market.
Best enjoyed with some tortilla chips and a crispy beverage.
2. What To Do: The 50th State Fair
After a two-year hiatus, the 50th State Fair is back and open now through July 4th at Aloha Stadium. There's fun to be had for all ages: from the petting zoo for the keiki to the legendary Zipper and Wave Swinger rides, nothing says summer quite like the 50th State Fair.
