Discover why so many people have collected Reyn Spooner Aloha shirts for 65 years. Over the last six and a half decades, we have built a legacy of quality craftsmanship, luxury details, and beautiful artwork – making Spooners the world’s most collected Aloha shirts.
Expertly crafted for 65 years
Our founder Reyn McCullough felt traditional Aloha shirts were too bold and lacked quality construction. Reyn changed all of that when he combined the sophisticated tailoring of classic menswear shirts with his new revolutionary wrinkle-free Spooner Kloth™ fabric to create an Aloha shirt with unparalleled craftsmanship.
The finer details such as our expertly print-matched pocket, button-down collar, and engineered placket put Reyn Spooner on the map, and 65 years later, each shirt we make honors our heritage with the same attention to detail and Aloha style.
Original Handcrafted Artwork
Hand drawn and painted by our in-house artists
Our team of talented artists thoughtfully create each print in Hawai’i. Beginning with a pencil sketch, our design team lays out a vision for the artwork, then they paint their sketches by hand, adding vibrant colors to bring the print to life. Finally, each design is digitized and sent to our printers to transform it into a piece of wearable art.
On the right is a Lahaina Sailor shirt from the 1980s, next to a brand-new shirt in the same style and color.
Fabric That Lasts a Lifetime
Our Spooner Kloth™ only gets better with age
An iconic fabric like no other, our Spooner Kloth™ is the perfect blend of cotton and spun polyester that combines comfort with innovative wrinkle-free properties to create an Aloha shirt built to become an heirloom. Over time our shirts develop a butter-soft feel and a subtle sun-faded color for the perfect vintage Aloha shirt look. In fact, Spooners are passed down from generation to generation, improving with age.
See for yourself why Spooners are the most comfortable and longest-lasting Aloha shirt you’ll ever own, 65 years in the making.
