Origins of a Classic

In 1959, President Eisenhower signed a proclamation admitting Hawai'i into the Union, officially becoming the 50th State in the United States. This print celebrates Hawai'i and our state flower, the pua aloalo (hibiscus). Before being named the official state flower, the pua aloalo was recognized as the emblem of Hawai'i and represented royalty, joy, and respect.

"This shirt is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are beautifully muted and the fabric is soft and comfortable. I always need a pocket to carry tissues so I ordered size Small (in women’s sizes I wear size large). Reyn Spooner shirts are so wonderful because their shirts do not wrinkle.
