The Green Wave Crashes Spooner U.
"The Tulane Green Wave do not have a shirt in the Spooner University collection. However, Super Swells does just fine. I wore this to the season opener at Duke and was comfortable at the Alumni Tailgate with high humidity and temperatures in the high 90s. Then storms rolled through, the game was delayed 90 minutes, temperatures and humidity dropped and I was comfortable throughout the game - if not with the final result. Like all Reyn Spooner shirts, the workmanship is excellent, the fit is superb, and the customer service is unmatched."

Love the Colors
"The beautiful illustrated koi are subtle as they swim over the fabric of this shirt. It looks crisp and handsome especially on a man with white hair. The pullover style was a change from the normal button up style I've gotten in the past and fits just as nicely on my husbands 6'4" frame. Arrived just as promised."

Inconsistent
"These shirts have become very inconsistent with sizing. Never know if it will be leaning to a modern cut or a classic as advertised. A real change over the past (been buying for 40 years). I also ordered the Ginger Burst in this shipment- totally different fit. 🤷♂️"

"Beautiful and perfectly made, as usual. Over the years I've collected several non-Reyn Spooner aloha shirts, and the workmanship on those shirts is so poor compared to my Spooners, that I don't wear them any more. Details like pattern matching at both sides of the button line make a big difference in the appearance of the shirt. And, of course, nothing is as comfortable and easy to care for as Spooner Kloth!"

Nice print, but don't like the new fit
"The print and color are great, but it why is that whenever you find a good thing, they go and change it so it's no longer as good? I have three older button-front Spooners and loved the fit of them. I'm not sure how they changed the button front fit, but the new fit is somehow off. I think the bottom is maybe narrower and it's maybe a bit longer? Not good. I won't be returning for more unless they decide to offer the old fit as an option."

Like a Tattoo
"To be honest, this is only the second new Spooner I've ever bought, I hunt for them in second hand stores as a rule. My first mew one was in Kauai in June '26. I view Spooners like tattoos, once you have one, you are planning for your next. This shirt was comfortable right out of the box, and as a middle aged guy, who rarely receives complements on my clothes, this one is like a magnet for positivity. Fit, Comfort and the Quality is amazing! Spooners are true to fit, buy the size you like and just know, the more you wear and wash it, the gooder it gets! One piece of advice, if you can hang dry your shirt after washing, do it, dryers will shrink your Spooner and short of using a steam iron, it just wont fit and wear the way you like."
