This exclusive print celebrates Jinzō Ningen Kikaidā, the beloved 1970s tokusatsu series that became a pop culture phenomenon in Hawai‘i after airing on KIKU TV. With new episodes every Saturday, keiki (kids) tuned in weekly to watch Kikaida battle a new supermonster.

Iconic scenes in the print, including Kikaida on his motorcycle, battles with Hakaida and monsters like Blue Buffalo & Gray Rhino King, Professor Gill with his flute, and Jiro with his guitar, are set against a classic monstera background where mechanical elements and texture are brought into the leaves as an homage to Kikaida's half-exposed brain.

Designed and hand-drawn by our in-house Hawai‘i artist, J., using his signature sketchbook-to-fabric process, this shirt blends our traditional aloha motifs with Kikaida’s universe to keep it timeless and wearable.
