MEET A FEW OF THE HEROES
WHO BROUGHT OUR COLLECTION TO LIFE

Our campaign features local Hawai'i-based veterans and active service members. Their dedication, personal stories, and spirit of Aloha serve as a salute to the U.S. Armed Forces and represent the heart behind this collection.

CORY MARTIN

U.S. MARINES

"You're capable of far more than you think, but doing something truly great takes a team. I try to approach every situation with Aloha—it's a simple mindset that significantly increases the chances of leaving things better than you found them."

JENNIFER PRESS

U.S. ARMY

"My service taught me that my purpose in life is to help others. That experience inspired me to pursue higher education and a career as a Registered Art Therapist. The spirit of Aloha continues to reinforce that purpose—it guides me to serve with compassion and without expectation, giving freely and wholeheartedly to those in need."

LARON PELLER

LARON PELLER

U.S. NAVY

"Serving taught me the importance of always being prepared—living by the saying, '"stay ready so you don’t have to get ready."' I was first stationed in Hawai'i in 2004 as a Hospital Corpsman, and it was there that the spirit of Aloha deepened my compassion and commitment to serve. That spirit extended beyond my fellow service members to the broader community, leading me to volunteer countless hours with organizations like the Ronald McDonald House, the Kidney Foundation of Hawai'i, and Easter Seals. I found true joy in putting others first and giving back to the community."

HEIDI GOO

U.S. AIR FORCE

"From my time in the service, I came to understand that no matter the branch, the years served, or the rank held, there is a lasting bond that connects all service members and veterans. The spirit of Aloha shaped the way I treated others—welcoming new military members to the base, offering a smile to a passerby, and always striving to show kindness, compassion, and understanding. Brightening someone’s day became a meaningful part of how I served."

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

These hand-painted prints were inspired by conversations with active duty and retired members of the Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force. Each design reflects the pride, purpose, and personal stories that define their time in service.

We aimed to honor not just the duty and discipline of our Armed Forces, but their humanitarian missions, historic milestones, and the technological progress that’s shaped the military over the last 250 years.
