Reyn Spooner celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the United States Armed Forces with this print that highlights the United States Army serving the community with helping hands, honor, and bravery. This print celebrates the life of an enlisted soldier, from the flag flying high in his early career to the flag being folded at its honorable end. Elsewhere, a Blackhawk helicopter drops water to extinguish a forest fire that threatens a nearby community. Two “handshakes” are also featured in the print: one scene depicts one soldier helping another up a cliff, while another depicts a soldier befriending a young boy while on tour overseas.
