What's the difference between Classic & Tailored aloha shirt fits?
CLASSIC FIT
A relaxed fit with extra room in the chest and body.

TAILORED FIT
A slimmer fit with a rounded shirt tail.
- - Tapered through the shoulder & chest for a trimmer fit

What size Performance Polo should I get?
Our performance polos run smaller and have a slimmer fit than our traditional aloha shirts. We recommend sizing up from your aloha shirt size as well as sizing up if you are between sizes.
Has your aloha shirt fit changed?
Although we have made minimal aloha shirt adjustments over the past 70 years, there have been a few minor fit changes to improve the way our aloha shirts fit.
Previously, our aloha shirts ran large with more of a boxy fit. More recently, we tightened up some of the measurements so the shirts complement the body and fall with a more refined fit.
Instead of running large, they now run truer to size and fit nicely on every body type.
Are your shirts larger than other brands?
Yes. Our Classic Fit aloha shirts typically run larger than other brands.
If you're between sizes or prefer a more tailored fit, we generally recommend sizing down.
For example, if you normally wear a Large in other brands, a Medium in our Classic Fit may provide a better fit. We also recommend checking our size charts on our product pages for the most accurate measurements before ordering.
Do your shirts shrink?
Our shirts are not designed to shrink. To maintain the best fit and fabric quality, we recommend following the care instructions provided on the garment.
HOW TO MEASURE (MEN'S STYLES)
The measurements shown on the product pages are average product dimensions for our garments. We suggest using the measurements of an item you own and comparing them to stats in our size chart to find the best fit.
To measure your garment, make sure it is buttoned all the way up (if applicable) and laid as flat as possible on it's back with the side seams aligned to get the most accurate measurements.
Chest: Measure from about 1 inch below the bottom of the armpit of the front of the shirt across to the other armpit and double the measurement.
Waist: Measure across the front of your shirt, about halfway between the armpit and hem of the shirt (approximately 18 inches from the shoulder) and double the measurement.
For shorts, measure across the front of the waistband and double the measurement.
Shoulder Width: The measurement of the end of the seam from the tip of one shoulder across to the other.
Bottom Opening: Measure across the front of your shirt, at the bottom hem and double the measurement.
Neck: Unbutton your shirt and measure inside the collar band from the center of the first button straight across to the edge of the button hole. Try to keep the collar taught so the curves are straight while measuring.
Inseam: Measurement of the leg length from the center of the crotch to the bottom hem.
Length: Measure from the top shoulder seam straight down to the bottom hem of the shirt.

Hips: Measure the widest part of the garment below the waist. For shirts, measure across the hem of the front of the shirt and double the measurement.
Shoulder: The measurement of the end of the seam from the tip of one shoulder across to the other.
Inseam: Measurement of the leg length from the center of the crotch to the bottom hem.
Length: Measure from the highest part of the top shoulder seam (or front of dress) straight down to the bottom hem of the shirt or garment.
